The Center Court Awards
 

In November 2004 The Florida Youth Basketball Association Awarded the Center Court Award to Art Maggio, Mike Doyle, Bruce Delaney, Stephen Haughn, and Elaine McCarthy. The Award is given to people who have dedicated themselves with endless leadership and vision while providing an exciting and enjoyable experience for youths to play basketball.  On behalf of all the players, coaches and parents we can’t thank you enough.

Art Maggio, first President and founding member (1997-2003) One of the original four members who founded the league while also being involved with the local Jupiter Recreation Sports Program. Known as “Mr. Travel Basketball.”

Mike Doyle Vice President and founding member (1997-2001) One of the four original members who founded the league. Was also one of the founders of Boca Hoops Recreation program in Boca Raton which he is still active in.

Bruce Delaney Treasurer and founding member (1997-2003) One of the four original members and also is an active member of the Wellington Recreation and Travel programs.

Stephen Haughn original director and member (1997-2001) An active member of the Wellington Recreation and Travel program.

Elaine McCarthy Treasurer and first web master and administrator (2000-2004) was also at that time involved with the Jupiter Recreation Sports Program..
